The people behind MarketGlide
Built by operators who know private markets
MarketGlide is built by a small team with deep experience in private markets, regulated financial infrastructure, and the technology that makes them work.
Founder

Harout Kavlakian
Harout is the Managing Partner of Ventures Without Borders (VWB), a London-based cross-border capital advisory firm connecting institutional and family office capital with curated real asset and private market opportunities globally.
Harout is also the founder of MarketGlide, a private markets deal discovery platform built to give curated visibility and direct capital access to the firms and managers that deserve it.
He holds degrees in Economics and Finance from the University of Warwick and Imperial College London, and has completed the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) Level 1 examination.
Earlier in his career, Harout advised two of the world's largest investment banks (G-SIBs) on risk management strategy, working directly at CFO and CRO level. His experience across management consulting, investment banking, equity research, and fintech affords a considered, cross-disciplinary perspective on the transactions and relationships he takes on.
Charity being one of the pillars of his life, Harout is a lifelong contributor to many noble organizations, and serves as Secretary of AGBU YP London branch. He is also an active member of City Livery Movement, as a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers and The Guild of Young Freemen.
In his spare time, you can find him playing football or reading a book in a London park.
We’re growing carefully
MarketGlide is being built with deliberate discipline. The team will expand as the platform’s deal flow and member base grow, prioritising operators with direct private markets experience over generic technology or finance backgrounds. Working with the right partners
MarketGlide works with selected fund administrators, legal advisors, and infrastructure partners across the UK, EU, and Gulf to ensure deals are structured, administered, and serviced to institutional standards. These relationships are disclosed to members on a deal-by-deal basis. The platform itself is being built toward FCA Appointed Representative status.
